Three Glazed Stoneware Articles, attributed to the Meaders Pottery, Cleveland, GA, 20th century, a two-gallon ovoid pitcher with olive-colored alkaline glaze, inscribed "2," attributed to Cheever Meaders, second quarter 20th century, unmarked; a smaller ovoid pitcher with olive-brown alkaline glaze, attributed to Lanier Meaders, 1969, unmarked; and a small blue-glazed pot, incised on underside "Edwin Meaders / 5-22-1990." Provenance: Smaller pitcher includes label, reading "Lanier Meaders, 1969 Pitcher / Ralph Rinzler." Rinzler was a Smithsonian curator and co-founder of the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival; Frank W. White Collection. All in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of taller pitcher) 13 1/4" ; H (of pot) 3 1/4".
