Glazed Stoneware Honey Pot with Lid, Inscribed "HONEY," attributed to Arie Meaders, Cleveland, GA, circa 1960s, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring the incised word, "HONEY." Surface covered in grayish to pale-brown glaze over a white clay ground. Includes similarly-glazed lid that appears to be too large for the pot. Both unmarked. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Jar and lid in excellent, essentially as-made condition with minor traces of old green paint to surface of jar. H (of jar) 3 1/4" ; Diam. (of jar, at rim) 3 3/4" ; Diam. (of lid) 4 1/2".
