Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Dish with Elaborate Blue Slip Decoration, Signed "AM," Arie Meaders, Cleveland, GA, circa 1956-1969, flaring dish, brush-decorated completely around its circumference with alternating design of crosshatched petals and smaller petals with circular detail to interior. Surface covered in a grayish alkaline glaze. Underside inscribed with Arie Meaders's initials in brushed black slip. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Diam. 7 3/8" ; H 1 3/8".
