Scarce Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Signed "ChEEVER MEADERS / MOSSY / CREEK / GEORGIA," Cleveland, GA origin, circa 1950s-mid 1960s, ovoid pitcher with flared rim and angular handle, the surface covered in a mottled-brown alkaline glaze. Large incised Cheever Meaders signature on underside. Provenance: Frank W. White Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 7 1/4".
