Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Beaver, PA origin, circa 1860, narrow-bodied, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with an undulating stem bearing three fuchsia blossoms. Freehand "2" to shoulder. A C-shaped partial flake to shoulder. Some light staining to base. Otherwise excellent condition. H 16 1/2".
