Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with footed base and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated around the shoulder with graduated swags interspersed with a four-spotted motif. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 8 1/4".
