Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Grapes Vase, Signed "AM," Arie Meaders Cleveland, GA, circa 1956-1969, squat-shaped, ovoid form with flared rim, the front and reverse decorated with a fine applied design of grapes flanked by leaves with curled vines, composed of dark-olive clay. Surface covered in a light-olive alkaline glaze. Underside incised with Arie Meaders's initials. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5 1/2".
