Blue-Glazed Stoneware Figure of a Rooster, Signed and Dated "Edwin Meaders / 9-20-1996," Cleveland, GA origin, 1996, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled figure of a rooster with impressed eyes and saw-toothed details to comb and tail, the surface covered in a blue glaze. Underside with incised "Edwin Meaders" signature and date. This example is thrown in a wider, more bulbous form than is typically seen. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 16 1/2".
