Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jars, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO, / PA.," circa 1880, both of tapered form with tooled shoulders and "wax sealer" rims, each decorated with a similar T.F. Reppert maker's stencil, including a stenciled foliate decoration at the center. Smallest example with dripped residue to surface, minor rim chips, and slight wear to rim and surface. Largest example with chip to underside, some fry to cobalt, small kiln drip below rim on front, and residue at bottom. H (of largest) 9 7/8".
