Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with pairs of daisies emanating from a leafy stem. Very nice condition with only minor flaws. A 1" vertical surface line at base, extending 1 1/2" onto underside, not visible on interior. Three base chips. An area of very shallow in-the-firing chipping to underside along bottom edge. H 8 1/4".
