Large-Sized Stoneware Bellarmine Jug, probably Frechen, German, 16th or 17th century, ovoid jug with tooled spout, the spout decorated with a molded and applied design of a bearded man's face. Impressed "4" below. Base chips, including a 1 1/2" x 1/2" flake to underside at edge. Some light wear to upper spout molding. H 17 3/4".
