Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "DONAGHHO CO / PARKERSBURG.W.V.," late 19th century, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-rounded rim, featuring "DONAGHHO CO" maker's stenciling below a stenciled "6" flanked by pyramidal spots. A 7/8" base chip on front. A small chip to interior of rim. Reverse with a 5" Y-shaped line to midsection, a very minor in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder, and a glazed-over gouge mark near base. A small chip to one handle. Some light streaks of water glass staining to sides and reverse. H 17 1/4".
