Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid jar with tooling to shoulder and rim, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze over a yellow ground. A 2 1/2" wide Y-shaped surface line at base, continuing 1 1/4" onto underside, not visible on interior. Wear to rim. Minor wear to interior. H 5" ; Diam. (at rim) 5 1/4".
