Scarce Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Advertising Jug, Stenciled "J. Busch, Liquors / Parkersburg, W.Va.," attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, ovoid jug with flared spout, featuring the diagonally-stenciled advertising, "J. Busch, Liquors / Parkersburg, W.Va.," above a band of diagonal geometric stenciling. Front with a salt drip above an in-the-firing surface chip. An in-the-firing surface chip on reverse. A minor spout chip. H 13 1/2".
