Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Wheeling, WV Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1880, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "Thomas Colvin. / Grocer / 193 Market Sq / West Side / Wheeling, W.V." Excellent condition with a small spot of salt drip to front and minor surface crazing, not visible on interior. H 6 5/8".
