One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Greensburgh, PA Advertising, Western PA origin,, circa 1880, ovoid jar with flattened rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "LEONARD KEEK / & BROS / GREENSBURGH. / PA." Freehand stripes to shoulder and base. Stenciled "1 1/2" with flourishes at base. A thin Y-shaped crack across underside, part of which forms a long, thin horizontal Y-shaped crack at base on side of jar. Two minor in-the-firing pings to rim. A minor chip on underside at edge. Light surface wear. Staining to surface. H 9 1/2".
