Redware Plate with Elaborate Two-Color Slip Decoration, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with slip-trailed yellow and manganese slip lines spanning the diameter and encompassing the rim, applied under a heavy lead glaze. Excellent condition with a small rim chip, the interior surviving in a remarkable state of preservation with only minor wear and residue from use. Diam. 9 7/8".
