Scarce Pair of Slip-Decorated Redware Tart Plates, PA origin, 19th century, diminutive plates with coggled edges, each decorated with undulating trails of yellow slip under a clear lead glaze. A flake to the rim of each. One with a thin 2 1/4" crack from edge. Some residue from use on interior of each. Diam. (of each) 4 1/8".
