Fine Small-Sized Moravian Redware Jug, Salem, NC origin, late 18th or early 19th century, ovoid jug with tall neck, semi-rounded spout, and ribbed handle, the surface covered in a mottled brown lead-and-manganese glaze. Base of handle with a small chip and thin crack. Tiny nicks to left edge of handle. A few tiny base nicks. Old dark residue to surface. H 4 3/4".
