Fine Large-Sized Salt-Glazed Stoneware Vase with Cobalt Decoration, Stamped "J.H. OWEN," Seagrove, NC, early 20th century, ovoid vase with flared rim and applied strap handles, decorated around the midsection with crossing incised lines accented with cobalt slashes. Handles decorated with vertical cobalt stripes. Underside impressed with circular J.H. Owen maker's mark. Provenance: Harmer Rooke Galleries, New York, NY. (Includes Harmer Rooker label on underside.) Outstanding size and form. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 16 3/4".
