Rare Miniature Stoneware Jug, Inscribed "Moore's Christmas Toy," NC origin, late 19th century, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, featuring the incised inscription, "Moore's / Christmas / Toy." Surface with Albany slip glaze under a clear salt glaze. Very nice condition with some wear to mouth, some wear and minor chipping to handle, and a small in-the-firing ping to shoulder. H 4 1/8".
