Three Barrel-Form Stoneware Articles with Cobalt Banding, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a five-gallon example cooler, stamped "J.M. PRUDEN/ ELIZABETH NJ," a two-gallon cooler with cobalt-spotted bunghole; and a rundlet with opening at center and smaller opening in top. Five-gallon cooler with scattered exfoliation and rim chips. Two-gallon cooler in excellent condition with minor traces of aqua paint to surface. Rundlet with restoration to base, the reverse with a small spot of old blue paint and some surface-level crazing. H (of tallest) 14 3/8".
