Scarce Anna Pottery Chicago Exposition Stoneware Little Brown Jug, Signed and Dated "Anna Pottery. / Oct 7 1879," Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, IL, 1879, highly-ovoid jug with footed base and semi-rounded spout, the surface covered in an Albany slip glaze and incised with the inscription, "Little Brown Jug / Anna Pottery. Chicago Exposition / Oct 7 1879." Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 4 3/8".
