Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HARRINGTON & BURGER / ROCHESTER," NY State origin, circa 1852-1854, cylindrical jar with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large, slip-trailed flowering plant motif. Slip-trailed "2." to shoulder. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Significant restoration to rim. Some restoration to one handle. H 11 1/2".
