Rare Tanware Jug with Allegheny, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1885, cylindrical jug featuring the stenciled Albany slip advertising, "JOSEPH CARSON. / 49 SOUTH DIAMOND ST. / ALLEGHENY PA. / WHOLESALE / WINES & LIQUORS / MY LITTLE BROWN JUG." Wear to top of spout. A chip and minor nick to handle. H 8 1/2".
