One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Samuel Irvine, Newville, PA, circa 1865, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed double-stemmed tulip plant. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 7" hairline across underside, continuing 3/4" onto reverse base. Minor handle wear. H 7 1/2".
