One-Quart Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar, brush-decorated with swags around the midsection and flanking the spout. Wavy cobalt stripes on the sides of the collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Desirable size. A 7/8" flake to underside/bottom edge. Two small adjacent chips to base. A chip to interior of spout. A 3 3/8" spider line on underside forming a 3 1/4" spider line on right side of pitcher. A salt drip to reverse. H 7".
