Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with squared rim and arched tab handles, brush-decorated on the front and reverse with a series of conjoined swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Very nice condition with a small chip to top of rim and an area of in-the-firing wear to top edge of rim. H 8 1/2".
