One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "S. HART," Fulton, NY origin, mid 19th century, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, brush-decorated with crossed leaves surrounding the number "1." Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some in-the-firing burns to surface, a small in-the-firing iron ping below decoration, and a minor nick to spout. H 11 3/8".
