Two One-Quart Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA, circa 1880, cylindrical jars with squared rims, brushed decorated with cobalt swag motifs at the shoulder. One in excellent, essentially as-made condition. The other with two restored cracks from rim. H (of shorter) 6 3/8".
