Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Baltimore, MD origin, third quarter 19th century, all of cylindrical form, a one-gallon jar with brushed swag-and-hanging-flower motif around shoulder; a one-gallon jar with brushed double-stemmed clover motif on front and reverse; and a two-gallon jar with brushed double-stemmed clover motif on front and reverse. One-gallon floral jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor glazed-over rim chip. One-gallon clover jar in excellent condition with a tiny nick to interior of rim, a base chip, and a salt drip at base. Two-gallon jar with two hairlines in underside and a small glazed-over rim chip. H (of shortest) 10 3/8".
