Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird-on-Stump Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird with plumed tail, perched on a stump flanked by shrubs. Some residue to surface. A long hairline to underside. H 10 1/4".
