Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken-Pecking-Corn Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, NY," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. Broken and reglued sections to base. Staining. H 10 5/8".
