Two Pieces of Stoneware with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT," circa 1870, a two-gallon semi-ovoid pitcher and two-gallon cylindrical jug, both with slip-trailed foliate motifs accented with spots. Pitcher with handle reglued and chip to base of handle, minor nicks to bottom edge of rim molding, a 1 3/4" salt drip to reverse, and staining to surface. Jug with two salt drips to front, crazing to base area, and staining. H 12 3/8".
