Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall collar and tooled rim, decorated in Albany slip on the body with an undulating vine between straight and wavy freehand stripes. Collar decorated with graduated vertical stripes flanking horizontal graduated stripes at the spout, situated between straight and wavy freehand stripes. Albany slip highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with minor chipping to spout. H 7 3/4".
