Glazed Redware Master Ink, PA origin, possibly Chester County, 19th century, cylindrical form with angled shoulder, large central well, and three quill holes, the surface decorated with sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. A small rim chip. A small, semi-circular crack at shoulder with two small chips. A small in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder. Very minor base wear. A thin sliver of in-the-firing adhered clay to underside. H 3" ; Diam. 5 1/4".
