Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and heavily-tooled collar, brush-decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant emanating from a stripe at the base. Swag decoration to collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A spout chip with a short line descending from it. Minor in-the-firing flaws to surface. Some light wear to cobalt. H 9".
