Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, second half 19th century, both of cylindrical form with squared rims and brushed foliate devices, measuring one-half gallon and one gallon. Smaller jar with hole drilled in rim, a rim chip, and rim wear. Larger jar with a rim chip and minor water glass staining. H (of smaller) 8 1/2".
