One-Quart Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, possibly Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1820, ovoid jug with rounded spout and thick handle, brush-decorated around the shoulder with a series of upswept swag or stylized flowers. Appealing size. Chips and a few very short vertical lines at base; most or all chips/lines appear to be in-the-firing. H 7 3/4".
