Fine Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry Atchison, New Geneva, PA, circa 1860, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and narrow "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a large brushed design of a tulip emanating from a long, looping stem. Excellent color. Very nice condition with minor chips to base, exterior of rim, and interior of rim, as well as some staining. H 8 1/2".
