Rare Salt-Glazed Stoneware Flowerpot, Stamped "J. EBERLY & BRO. / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1885, flared flowerpot with squared rim, heavily-crimped shoulder molding, and original drain hole in underside, impressed diagonally at the shoulder with a "J. EBERLY & BRO. / STRASBURG, VA" maker's mark. Chips to crimping and base. A thin, approximately 5" crack from rim. A 1 1/2" rim chip. Other small rim chips. Traces of old green paint to surface. H 9 1/4" ; Diam. (at rim) 8 3/4".
