Shenandoah Valley Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "S. BELL & SON. / STRASBURG," VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, the exterior dipped in cream-colored slip with faint manganese drips, the entire surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Hairlines to base. A 3 3/4" hairline from rim. Wear and two minor chips to rim, one of which is glazed over. H 6 1/2".
