Shenandoah Valley Slip-Decorated Redware Flowerpot, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, tapered flowerpot with attached saucer and coggled embellishments, the surface dipped in streaky cream-colored slip, decorated with spattered manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Possibly the finest-conditioned Strasburg flowerpot that we have ever offered, surviving with only minor wear to rims. H 8 3/4" ; Diam. (at rim) 7 3/4".
