One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J.W. COWDEN," Harrisburg, PA, circa 1861, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed design of a daisy flanked by swags. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Base chips. Otherwise excellent condition. H 11 1/2".
