Two Two-Gallon Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "J. NORTON & CO. / BENNINGTON, VT," circa 1860, both of cylindrical form, one with slip-trailed bird atop a floral spray, the other with bird perched on a stylized branch. Bird-on-floral jug with restored handle and blurriness to cobalt. Other jug with a large flake to spout, blurriness to cobalt, and staining. H (of taller) 14 1/2".
