Two Pieces of Fulper Stoneware, Flemington, NJ origin, late 19th and/or early 20th century, a two-gallon jug with slip-trailed floral motif, stamped "FULPER BROS., / FLEMINGTON NJ.," circa 1881-1898; paired with a Bristol-slip-glazed batter pitcher with cobalt bird motif, circa 1900. Pitcher with two cracks in handle, staining, an in-the-firing iron ping near base, minor base chips, a small U-shaped surface crack near base, and a network of lines to underside. Jug with staining, a few spout chips, and some minor in-the-firing iron pings to surface. H (of pitcher) 5".
