Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM.E. WARNER / WEST TROY," NY State origin, circa 1850, ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a spotted tulip. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Two chips to one handle, one of which occurred in the firing. A small, 3/4" flaked area to side of jar. Two salt drips to side of jar. H 11".
