One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BELL. / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, bowl-shaped jar with squared rim, decorated around the shoulder with four spotted tulip motifs. A long curving crack from rim. A shallow 5/8" rim chip. A minor in-the-firing chip to bottom edge. H 6 3/8" ; Diam. 8 1/2".
