One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM. MOYER," Harrisburg, PA, circa 1858-1861, cylindrical jar with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed tulip. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Provenance: From a recently-surfaced PA collection, purchased by the consignor between 1963 and 1975. Staining to surface. A shallow 7/8" iron ping near base. Wear and a few small chips to inner rim for lid. Minor surface wear. H 10".
