Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA origin, fourth quarter 20th century, ovoid jug with well-sculpted, applied-clay face including kaolin eyes with cobalt pupils and open mouth with kaolin teeth. Incised with Lanier Meaders signature on underside. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 10".
